The real surefire plants designed to appeal to hummingbirds are deep tube-shaped flowers. Hummingbirds probe these blooms with their long bills and tongues to lap up the energy drink that keeps their high-revving motors humming. Hummingbirds play a large role in pollination. As hummingbirds dip their bills down into each flower, pollen clings to their bills and feathers so they transfer it from plant to plant. The pollen fertilizes the flowers, which ensure their survival.

Here are my first four upcycled glass art birdbaths. I converted the second one from a birdbath to a hummingbird garden totem. I didnt like the bowl I had on it and I had this really cool metal sculpture I thought would look really good on this one. On the turtle birdbath you will notice I put it on a very large bowl for the base. This is because my parents cats drink out of their birdbaths, and so I needed to add weight to the bottom so dad could bury it a little bit so it wont tip over.
